Manpreet is a studious girl in high school whose focus is her career and she's the only financial hope for her younger sister Manjit and brother Sansar. However their mother, Paramjit knows the reality of their situation. She struggles to make ends meet and is falling behind on paying the monthly admission fee at school, which could result in her children being thrown out.

Manpreet, realizes her mother is under pressure and knows the only way to help the family is if she's able to become an earning member of the household so, she needs to stay in school and complete her education. Manpreet's dream is to graduate from college and become a professor at a University someday so, that she can support her family.
